The Village of Waterford has a municipal ordinance regarding residency for registered sex offenders - Code of the Village of Waterford s. 174-7.2 (as revised by Ordinance No. 653) Important elements of the ordinance are listed below, but citizens are encouraged to read the entire

Residency Restrictions
Registered sex offenders are restricted from establishing a residence within 750 feet of child-related facilities including:
- public schools
- private schools
- licensed child care providers
- public parks
- private parks
- public libraries
Notification
Registered sex offenders are required to notify local law enforcement officials of their intent to move into an area. Sign up for
