Racine County Public Health Division

The Village of Waterford receives public health services from Racine County Public Health Division. At RCPH, their perspective is that "success is sometimes measured by what does not happen." Because of that,  they work with the communities they serve on a broad array of environmental health, community health and preparedness programs to prevent disease and promote well-being.  Public health focuses on the whole population and therefore they provide a broad list of essential services to include health promotion, disease prevention, and protection from health and environmental hazards.

Public Health Nursing

Visit CRCHD for information on the services and programs available through public health nursing, such as health education, home health visits, prenatal and healthy babies, blood pressure checks, lead poisoning prevention, and car seat inspections.

Environmental Health

Environmental health staff inspect and license eating and drinking establishments, public pools, hotels, body art businesses. The also provide information on mold hazards and clean up, hazardous waste, lead and radon mitigation, well water testing and other issues of public health. The  Village of Waterford no longer has radon testing kits available. Contact Racine County Health Department for more information on locations for purchase
