Public Boat Launch
For those with a need for speed, motorized boating sports are accessible north of the river from the public boat launch at Huening Park. The launch is opening daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, April 1 to October 31.

- Seasonal Village Resident Pass - $25
- Seasonal Nonresident Pass - $37
Seasonal passes can be purchased at Village Hall during normal office hours. Please bring a driver's license and know the license plate number of the car you will be using to tow the boat.
Fishing is a very popular activity above the Waterford Dam and below with abundant game fish.
The Tichigan Wildlife Preserve is located just north of the Village. All along the river, nature lovers enjoy watching deer, fox, beaver, mink, and more. Bird watchers can see waterfowl such as great egrets, heron, swan, pelican, and teal and wood ducks. Nesting eagles also hunt along the river.
Biking and Hiking
Rustic roads and off-road trails provide opportunities for bikers of all interests and all skills. The Seven Waters Trail stretches 17 miles from Burlington to Muskego Lake, through Waterford and Norway.

The Rec Department of the Waterford Graded School District offers fun and learning for kids and adults year round. Learn a new skill such as arts and crafts or get fit with a variety of exercise classes, join a sports team, enrichment classes for students, and so much more.
